Trauma Conference 2019 was a co-creation between BME Voices Talk Mental Health and the Muslim Counsellor and Psychotherapist Network (MCAPN).
It was a sold-out event that bought together a great line-up of inspiring speakers.
The conference was sponsored by Place2be and The British Psychological Society – Division of Counselling Psychology. It was also supported by Juvenis and Milk & Honey.
A big thank you goes out to all the delegates, speakers and sponsors. Every one of you helped to make the conference a successful event.
"I enjoyed the conference as a black therapist and individual. Our communities are in need of these platforms to keep the issue of race and the "other" high on the agenda. The conference assisted my learning and validated my experience. Thank you"

"Good conference, well organised and professional. Made things clinically relevant and some concrete things to take away as sometimes i find whilst i learn stuff I struggle to know how to apply what I learn in a clinical context - this conference helped with both so thank you"
