My name is Helen George and I am the Founding Director of Community Trauma Conference UK. I am also a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist & Consultant Clinical Supervisor, working in private practice, specialising in working with trauma.
We are a not-for-profit organisation focusing on trauma and healing within intersections of racialised communities.
The roots for Community Trauma Conference UK emerged from my previous successes with BME Voices Talk Mental Health and Trauma Conference 2019 & 2020. We have now evolved with a new vision.
We will be using our profits and any funding we receive to support our communities and research initiatives.
We have exciting plans for this conference organisation and will be sharing them with you in the coming months.
In the meantime, I look forward to welcoming you, either virtually or in-person, to one of our conferences.

"A breath of fresh air to listen to other Black women speak so openly about their experience. It resonated on so many levels and there was strength in that shared experience"
